The (Almost) Useless Software of the Week: Purrint

 

Purrint is a software that, believe it or not, tweaks your "Print Screen" button so that it actually does what it is named for, prints the screen.

Apparently the print screen button only copies an image to your clipboard. When you install this software, it hangs out in your system tray and changes the behavior of that button. When you hit Print Screen, a window will pop up asking if you want to copy the screen to your clipboard, save the image as a file, or actually print it.

Now the question is, who will need a software hanging around on your computer for such a trivial task? And why would the maker actually waste his time making such an absolutely useless software? I suppose not even God knows the answer.
